Aki Mogami (最上 旭 Mogami Aki), birth name Yoshinaka Kiso (木曾 義仲, Kiso Yoshinaka) is a new character introduced in Majikoi! A-5 and is an alternate love interest for Yamato Naoe in Yoshitsune Minamoto's route. She receives her own route in Majikoi! A+. She is the Student Council Chairwoman that supports Kawakami Academy from the shadows. Aki was born for the purpose of being a rival for Yoshitsune. She plays a vital role in saving Kawakami City with Momoyo Kawakami, Seiso Hazakura and Tsubame Matsunaga in the Final Route. She is the former main antagonist in Yoshitsune's route, acting as the final opponent.
Appearance []
Aki is very pale-skinned girl with waist-length black hair and black eyes.
Like some characters in the series she also wears a unique Kawakami uniform, instead of the common blue patterns on her uniform, it is black instead, her vest and ribbon are all black, and lastly her skirt has dark and black patterns instead of blue and white. Like some of the characters, she also carries her sword around her waist and is held by black and red ropes
Personality[]
At first glance, Aki seems to be a calm and composed girl, but she is rather bold in truth who is weak when it comes to machines. She loves her parents who raised her with care and affection. However, she also has a nihilistic side of herself about fate as she was raised to believe in destiny as Yoshinaka Kiso, her sacrifice for the benefit of the world through Daybreak Plan where Aki herself will be dissected and experimented to popularize cloning technology and be hailed as the light of the world.
Story (Majikoi! A-5)[]
Yuusai Mogami who knew about Yoshitsune Minamoto's cloning purpose, prepared secretly from the top management results in the creation of Yoshinaka Minamoto's clone, given the name Aki Mogami and became Yuusai's adopted daughter.
Raised in the recesses of a mountain, she moves to Kawakami after she grows up, becoming the School Council Chairwoman that supports the school in the shadows.
Even though she learned about her circumstances while still young, she hid it all in accordance to her father's instructions.
With the appearance of Yoshitsune in Kawakami, all the conditions to make her true identity known are met.
With her ability to mask her presence at will, she was able to not stand out even with excellent grades until now.
Abilities and Skills[]
Aki is one of the strongest swordswomen, capable of rivaling the other master swordswomen like Yukie Mayuzumi and Yoshitsune Minamoto, her rival.

- Aki's surname Mogami means "utmost, most, extreme" (最) (mo) and "above, top, upper" (上) (kami/gami).

- Yoshinaka's surname Minamoto means "source, origin" (源).
Trivia[]
- Aki loves nature and that she often daydreams while listening to the voices of the wind or trees, but she is no good with the tumult (a loud, confused noise, especially one caused by a large mass of people).
- In the final popularity poll on Minatosoft's website for Majikoi! A, of the current female characters in the series, Aki is ranked #2 with 2,637 votes, almost beating Margit Eberbach in the poll by 3 votes.
